Premiere Senior Care at Maplewood Park Place

Maplewood Concierge Doctor Service Article - As Seen in Bethesda Magazine

Imagine a personal physician who specializes in geriatrics - a doctor who will see you not only for sick visits when you are ill, but for regular visits to keep you well.

We will bill Medicare and your secondary insurer for all covered services.

Premier Senior Care is the private practice of Dr. Gary Wilks and Dr. Roy Fried specializing in geriatric medicine. At Maplewood, residents have the option of choosing Dr. Gary Wilks as their primary care physician to provide on-site medical care in the clinic designed exclusively for Independent Living Residents.

Dr. Wilks is available four half-days per week in the MPP clinic for acute care visits for any Independent Living resident during regular scheduled hours.  He will be the attending physician for his patients if they require care in the Garden Level.   All hospital level care will be coordinated to ensure a smooth transition.

At Premier Senior Care, we focus on keeping our patients well and preventing problems, as well as, diagnosing and treating illness. We believe in the value of personal physicians who know their patients well. Say good-bye to busy waiting rooms and too-short visits with the doctor. We are prepared to spend whatever time is needed to attend to all the concerns and questions of our most important patient: you.

We are affiliated with Suburban and Sibley Hospitals and help coordinate any hospital care needed. We are happy to work with any specialists you are seeing, and to refer you to any additional specialists needed. Because we specialize in geriatrics, you may actually be able to reduce the number of specialists you require.  We believe our practice will provide you with the best possible medical care. After all, you deserve nothing less.
