At Maplewood Park Place, we’re devoted to providing customized health care with a person-centered approach to all owner residents, customized to their individual needs.

Our concierge physician is on call 24/7 and available on-site four days a week. Community members can also consult with a variety of specialists — from audiologists to podiatrists — and can have many tests done on-site — from EKGs and X-rays to lab work. We also offer a Life Safety program for all residents, featuring daily wellness checks, a 24-hour lifeline, 24-hour security and a front desk concierge at your service to answer questions and provide support.

Our Medicare Certified Wellness Clinic, available to independent living residents, offers access to a registered nurse seven days a week.

Health Care Services That Scale to Suit You

Residents in independent living may receive care options in their own home or choose to transition to our five-star-rated health care center — the highest possible rating from Medicare. Situated on our Garden Level, the center provides skilled nursing care, assisted living, and personalized memory care and support, as well as rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our rehab team customizes occupational therapies to accommodate each resident’s actual home in independent living.

For added peace of mind, Maplewood offers a Lifecare Plan for qualified residents, with high-quality, long-term care at affordable rates.

All phases of continuing care are provided on-site for use by our residents. If health events separate you from your spouse or Maplewood friends, a visit is only a few steps away!

Wherever you reside at Maplewood – independent living, assisted living or skilled nursing – hospice care is also available.

Assisted Living

For owner residents who are ready to transition to a higher level of care, assisted living provides personalized help with activities of daily life, along with on-call nursing 24 hours a day.

Skilled Nursing Care

When more care is needed than what assisted living provides, skilled nursing provides medical and custodial care, 24 hours a day.

Personalized Memory Care

Memory care services support seniors who have memory loss due to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive impairments.

Rehabilitation Services

For residents recovering from surgery, a stroke or needing intravenous medication administration, rehabilitation services can help them get back on their feet.

Welcome to the Garden Level, where you’ll find our five-star-rated health care center — the highest possible rating from Medicare. Residents in independent living may receive care in their own home or choose to transition to our health care center, which provides assisted living, skilled nursing care, personalized memory care and support, and rehabilitation services.

We’ve recently redesigned the center to give the health care experience a residential feel, including making families and visitors feel more at home. Not only did our Garden-Level renovation update our existing kitchen and dining areas, activity rooms, physical therapy areas, nursing stations, conference rooms and the elevator lobby, but we also created new spaces for comfortably socializing and entertaining.

Owner Resident Qualifications

Maplewood Park Place is first and foremost an independent living community comprised of owner residents. While our on-site health care center offers assisted living, skilled nursing care, personalized memory care and support, and rehabilitation services, those offerings are specifically reserved for our owner residents in independent living.
